Abstract

When the hypersonic aircraft is in flight at more than Mach 4, the outer surface of the components is subjected to very high temperature due to aerodynamic heating. Then, thermal barrier and high temperature resistance materials must be developed. The functionally gradient materials (FGMs) was proposed in 1984. Thermal stresses in FGMs are explained. In this talk I will introduce: 1Concept of Functionally Graded Materials(FGMs),2Steady Thermal Stress Problems in FGMs,3Transient Thermal Stress Problems in FGMs, 4General Treatments of Thermal Stresses in FGMs, 5Crack Problems in the FGMs, and 6) Crack Propagation in the FGP under Thermal Shock.

日本静冈大学名誉教授,曾任静冈大学工学部部长,研究生院院长;国际著名热应力专家,国际热应力大会涤讪人,多个国际期刊的编委,出书专著14部,宣布论文300余篇,在国际上爆发重要影响。
