Piezoelectric materials with electro-mechanical coupling effect has been widely utilized in actuators, sensors, dampers and so on. Engineering structures with piezoelectric actuators and sensors proved great improvement in vibration and noise reduction. Flexoelectric effect, which describes the linear coupling between the electric polarization and strain gradient and between the polarization gradient and strain in solids, has a fourth-rank order tensor electro-mechanical coupling coefficient, and in principle, makes flexoelectricity existing in all insulating materials and promises an even wider application potential in vibration and noise control. In this presentation, the flexoelectric actuating and control of beams and plates will be introduced. The basic theory of flexoelectric effect, the generation of electric field gradient in flexoelectric materials, and control strategies of flexoelectric smart structures will be discussed.
报告人简介:
樊牧博士,航空学院航空航天交叉院讲师。2011年本科结业于哈尔滨工业大学航行器设计与工程专业,2015年获南洋理工大学断裂力学博士学位,并于2015年底加入乐投Letou航空宇航学院。教学方面,主要担负本科生结构力学课程教学;科学研究方面,目前主要研究偏向有基于挠电质料的结构驱动、振动控制及减振降噪研究以及复合质料断裂力学、裂纹裂端弹塑性变形剖析等。近年来在AIAA J., J. Vib. Acoust.-Trans. ASME, J. Intell. Mater. Syst. Struct., Acta Mech.等领域内主流期刊宣布学术论文多篇,累计宣布SCI期刊论文近30篇;主持国家自然科学基金项目1项,江苏省基金项目1项;多次在美国机械工程师学会(ASME)IMECE年度国际集会承办“多场耦合与控制”分会场。
